ABOUT ME
Hi, Iβm James.
I am a UK & Destination photographer & videographer based in the Cotswolds.
My love of photography started during university when I started documenting behind the scenes of the films we were making and continued to develop during my first few years in the wedding industry. I was fortunate that during the final year of university I was hired to document a few weddings as a videographer and upon graduation I went straight into filming weddings full time.
Over the last few years Iβve been asked more and more if I photographed weddings as well as film them and thatβs lead to a gradual shift into becoming a wedding photographer. I still film weddings but my love of photography has taken over.
One thing that has stayed the same is that I aim to document your day naturally as it happens. Capturing all of the special moments and everything else in between.
A little bit more about me.
I met my wife, Malin, as a student on our third day at university and we got married in our final year. Weβve been pretty much inseparable ever since! We currently live in the Cotswolds but travel all across the country to photograph and film weddings!
I am a huge James Bond fan and Malin and I attended the premier of the latest James Bond film No Time To Die in 2021 at the Royal Albert Hall. The following year at the 60th anniversary of the franchise I got to meet the director of five James Bond films, John Glen, which was the highlight of my night despite having a front row seat to Dame Shirley Bassey as she sang Goldfinger.
James - Photographer
Iβve spent most of my life living in the countryside and love being around nature.
Graduated from university with first class honours in film production.
For as long as I can remember Iβve been obsessed with films! On average I watch 400 films a year.
Any rum / whisky with apple will always be my drink of choice.
When Iβm not watching films Iβm often reading about films and film history and working on expanding my film collection!
Malin - 2nd Photographer
My name is Swedish and is pronounced Marlin, like the fish!
I work with James as a second photographer.
I graduated from university with a degree in musical theatre.
